Chip DiMonick - voted Pittsburgh's "Best Punk Band" for the past three years - today announced a special concert/party to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the band’s first show.

The “Decade of DiMonick” concert and party will be held on September 25, 2015 at the Smiling Moose in Pittsburgh’s South Side.  Chip DiMonick played its first show and released its debut album, “Bat An Eyelash,” in September 2005.  For this momentous event in Pittsburgh rock history, Chip DiMonick will be performing fan-voted songs from all five of its albums, including several songs not performed in years.

“In this world that’s oversaturated with on-demand music, it’s a stretch for fans to stick by a band for two years, let alone 10,” said Chip DiMonick, singer and guitarist of the band.  “The fact that our fans have been raging with us for a decade makes us wanna throw them the biggest party imaginable and create some amazing rock memories for them in the process.”

There will be many “twists” for this event and it will also feature some extremely talented special guests performing on the bill.  Those twists and special guests will be announced to the press and public in the next week.

Though three of Chip DiMonick’s five CD’s have been sold out and out of print, the band is issuing a special, limited edition four-disc set of its back catalog to coincide with this event.  The set will include 2005’s “Bat An Eyelash,” 2007’s “Not Yet Rated,” 2009’s “Sick Definition of Fun,” and 2012’s “The Sign of a New Generation” and will be available for just $15.  The band’s latest album, “Uncaged,” will be available separately for $8.  “Uncaged” and the four-disc set can be combined for a purchase price of $20.
